Powerful words

Language is creative. The words we use always have an impact and an effect on us and also on the people around us. There is always an implicit intention, motivation and energy behind every word we use, even when we are not conscious about it in most of the cases.

An entrepreneur & three pillars

I like fashion as a way of expression, an art and a vehicle of creativity. These three realities meet in fashion design: the vision of the human being & his imagination, the capture of that vision within the design on paper, and finally, the materialization of all that on display in the garment.

Goals

Sometimes clear & specific, others blurred & general. One way or another, the goal seems to be the key as it points to the direction, adding meaning, creating the path.

A great start

It is difficult for me to explain the deep & joyful satisfaction I feel when me and one of my clients come to the end of their coaching process. When the process really closes down because the person has completed the rute, and without planning it, everything displays around towards an spontaneous, clear & coherent closure.

With all my senses

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the importance of attitude as a way to manage our life. Today I focus in another attainable & very useful tool.

One of the basic concepts on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) are the submodalities, or the ways through which we connect with reality by using our senses. This means that we organise the impact that experiences have on us according to our perception.

Attitude

Even when many people feel that way, life is not a torture or a path of suffering. Life is not constant fighting or required striving. Life is tough sometimes but above all it is a wonderful adventure that keeps surprising us in every step of the way.

Love that kills

I’ve witnessed today the emotional rollercoaster of an ill human being broken by her life. I saw her immense happiness first, then her deepest sadness. The unexpected joy was promoted by others and it lasted only a few hours. Bitterness came also suddenly, brought by someone very close to this person, and like a slash, it stripped that ephemeral joy justifying his sharpness with the aseptic reality.

Changing seats

There are so many things -and so useful & beautiful too all of them- that I’ve learnt thanks to coaching!

One of the first lessons I took in -one that I actually keep in mind every day- is the ‘comfort zone’ concept. It is relevant to every single one of us, it doesn’t matter how we are or where do we come from. Why? Because we all have our very own comfort zone.

Treasure's chest

I’ve been working over the last couple of weeks on assignments needed to complete a training course. Two of them were actually handicrafts tasks somehow and I don’t consider myself very good at that but I aimed to do a good job.

I state

I did not understand either why & how affirmations could work until I generate my own.
